FibronPipe's manufacturing lines are ready for implementation under licensing agreements with selected partners worldwide. All Composite Pipes are produced using FibronPipe's established technology platform, including defined process specifications and prescribed raw materials to ensure consistent quality.

We support our partners with comprehensive training, technical assistance, and onboarding services, laying the foundation for long-term collaboration and successful local manufacturing.

FibronPipe Manufacturing Facility

Proven Under Real-World Manufacturing Conditions

The equipment used for TCP/bonded-RTP production has been developed and continuously optimized over several years at our operational manufacturing facility in Austria - not just designed on paper, but refined under real 24/7 production conditions. This hands-on development approach ensures robust, reliable and production-ready technology.

Purpose-Built for Bonded Composite Pipe

All system components are tailored to support the unique requirements of TCP/bonded-RTP production, with particular emphasis on the following critical elements:

PLC System

The PLC manages and controls the entire pipe manufacturing process with precision and reliability.

  • Defined start-up ramps with exact time and temperature control profiles
  • Recipe management for various pipe types and diameters
  • Centralized control and data acquisition for inline quality control systems
  • Data interface to the ATP (Automatic Tape Placement) system, including AI-driven vision software
  • Integrated safety loop control for safe operation
  • "Co-Pilot" remote access feature for expert support and maintenance

Tape Wrapping Units

Tape Wrapping Units

The tape wrapping units are engineered for precision, stability, and continuous performance in TCP/bonded-RTP production.

  • Automatic tape tension control, independent of tape magazine size
  • Motorized angle and axis positioning using high-performance motors
  • Highly advanced spool mounting system for safe high-speed production
  • Controlled tape overlap and feed-in position
  • Designed for quick spool changes to minimize downtime
  • Active pipe centering using driven centering motors
  • Modular design for flexible integration

Automatic Tape Placement (ATP)

FibronPipe's ATP system features advanced, AI-driven semantic vision technology to ensure precise and reliable tape placement.

  • AI-based vision software for accurate tape gap recognition
  • Inline automatic tape gap control and real-time adjustment
  • Seamless integration with the master line PLC
  • Continuous monitoring of placement accuracy
  • Reduced operator intervention through intelligent automation
  • Adaptable to different product types and pipe diameters

The Importance of Inline Quality Control

In the energy sector, operators are increasingly demanding more than just basic performance qualification for non-metallic composite pipes - they expect effective, real-time quality control within the manufacturing process itself. Key process parameters such as tape tension, nip point, placement angle, tape width, and gap size must be precisely controlled. Deviations can directly impact the long-term performance of the pipe.

Inline quality control is therefore not optional - it is essential!

Inline Quality Control

Inline Quality Control (QC)

FibronPipe's inline QC system provides full transparency, documentation, and traceability across the entire pipe manufacturing process.

  • Continuous identification and real-time recording of all critical production parameters
  • Automatic digital data logging for each pipe section
  • Full traceability of manufacturing conditions for every meter of pipe
  • Data export in standard formats for compliance requirements
  • Optional integration with cloud-based systems or local MES platforms

Pipe Coil Winding

FibronPipe's coil winding system is designed for flexibility and efficiency, accommodating a wide range of pipe sizes and project needs.

  • Adjustable inner and outer diameter coil winding
  • Versatile packaging options: drums or wooden transport frames
  • Coil lengths of up to 1,100 meters per unit
  • Up to four coils can be loaded on a single standard truck

FibronPipe vs Conventional RTP

What Sets FibronPipe Apart from Conventional RTP

Unlike traditional Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipes (RTP), FibronPipe's Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP/bonded-RTP) is built with a fully bonded composite structure.

  • Bonded and fused manufacturing principle - ensures a monolithic wall structure
  • In-situ melt fusion process through precise temperature control
  • Fully bonded composite layers distribute loads evenly
  • Superior fatigue resistance and flexibility
  • Minimized risk of gas penetration and blistering
  • Improved dimensional stability
  • Enhanced resistance to thermal cycling
  • Lower risk during installation
  • Optimized for advanced inline QC
  • Supports reuse and recyclability
